Well well well, seems like heading home is going to take a while. Actually it feels like ages! After 4 hours of flight with Emirates from Auckland to Melbourne, spending 15 hours in Melbourne doing nothing was just "exciting".

Flying with Emirates and Air Asia for the first time isn't that bad. At least is better than I expected, so is not that bad. People said Emirates is one of the best, to be honest, is just so so, not great nor bad, but okay. The meal was good though. I had salmon fillet with veges, bread with butter/cheese, beef salad and dessert. I think among all the airlines I flew with, Emirates serves the best airplane meals ever. I'm not saying the rest serves sucky meals, but so far, Emirates serves the most tastiest meals. Anyhow, I only been flying with a few airlines such as MAS, Thai airways, Air Asia and Emirates. So I can't really conclude which serve the best. *I think I just contradicted myself.

Somehow, I think the air stewardess on Air Asia are prettier than those on Emirates. Although they are not as tall as the ones on Emirates, but they are definitely prettier! And I don't really like the Emirates' air stewardess uniform, because the colour is not bright enough. *LOL.. The flight to Melbourne was okay, besides the random phone calls I kept getting through the phone service on the plane; I was totally sucked into the screen right in front of me. I mean I was watching movies the whole time (4 hours nonstop), movies like Despicable me and Toy story 3. I always wanted to watch these 2, but my friends couldn't get the HD version, is always the crappy version; so we gave up. But God answer my prayers, I got to watch it on the plane. How awesome is that? Talking about the random call, of course I didn't pick up. I wanted to, but I didn't it. And I'm regretting now. What if the person calling me is a hot dude, right? *sighh, I know, I should have answered it. The same person sitting at 28H called me 3 times, but I didn't pick up. *BIG FAIL!

Did I mention I got stopped by the police while passing the customs? Yeah, they stopped me, because my water bottle had too much water, so they made me finished my water on the spot. I practically finished my water in like 5 minutes, because I was rushing to board the plane as I was kinda late. Moreover, they seized my pepper spray and wrote a police report. The reason they stopped me is because of the pepper spray. They said is illegal to carry pepper spray in New Zealand but I didn't know *obviously! Yeah, so they took it,in a really nice way, didn't hold me back for too long as they know I'm already late. The police dude was kinda hot himself. *lmao.. They he said "Hey, don't worry, you can still make it for your flight, just don't shop around. Run to the gate, okay?" And I was like "Yeah sure, thanks!" And he let me go after signing all the papers and stuff. What a relieve! How am I suppose to know whether is illegal or not, they didn't stop me when I first enter New Zealand, anyway, is kinda my fault for not reading the paper properly as they claimed they stated in the paper.

Declaring food in Melbourne was easy enough! They didn't open my bag, they didn't scan my bag, no dogs sniffing my bags, they just took my paper. Maybe because my luggage was all wrapped up with cling wrap and they are lazy to open it or check, so they just let me through. Spending 15 hours in the airport was "exciting"! I mean I totally stayed up the whole night wonder around the airport. And trust me, there's nothing open except McD. I just sat in one place with my laptop. I can't go online, I can't do anything but to watch my series! Thank God I have series in my laptop, or else I'm so going to die of boredom. Walking around isn't that fun as there were nothing to see and people were all sleeping on the bench. The airport was not totally pitch black but was definitely dimmer. And I can't believe Melbourne is actually colder than I expected and colder than New Zealand. Talk about crazy weather...

8 hours with Air Asia was fine but not great. The plane was so noisy. Maybe because people on the plane got nothing to do, so they talk to each other. I was so exhausted and tired, was trying my best to ignore the girl across me as she kept going on and on about stuff in Melbourne with some old dude sitting beside her. I know I can't do anything, so I just ignored and sleep. And I did sleep, for roughly 7 hours or maybe less. The only time I wake up is to eat and pee. *lmao.. It was noisy, and food on the plane, is so over-priced!! One freaking meal cost the passenger RM30. Can you believe that? So next time better be smart and pre ordered your food when you book your ticket. Is so freaking expensive, not like the food is awesome and the portion was not huge, is like half of the ang mor portion, or maybe lesser. I don't know, after having my meal, I continued to sleep. *I know I sound like a pig here, but I was tired! :D It was totally bored, don't fly with Air Asia unless you have a friend with you or short flights like 2 or 3 hours. Not freaking 8 hours man! You will die! *lol...

I came back hoping to see my dog jumping on me, excited to see me, but I was dead wrong! I was talking about Oscar in the car with my sister or brother, then my mum told me, we lost him. He passed away one month ago, when I was still in New Zealand. He was hit by a car, it was a freaking hit and run! *Curse you freaking ass hole driver. I curse you to hell. They dare not tell me earlier because I was having my exams and stuff. Now I really do miss him a lot. His madness, his craziness and his cuteness! The house seems so quite now; without him. You will be remembered and missed, always! T.T

Shout out to Sanad, Casslyn, Vee and Tian Wen! Thanks for sending me to the airport!! Missing all of you already! :)

conclusion: I'm back home! happy to be back home! peace out! :)
