Sorry it took me so so uber long to blog about my trip to Taiwan. And here it is!! :)
Well, this is my first time going vacation with only cousins and friend, without family. This is my first time, believe me. Of course there's a different, the feeling is different. Anyway, I was not on tour or anything, is somehow a free and easy trip, "back-packing" 8 days in Taiwan, so-called. *lolz.. We went to Taiwan with bags and a book, we go wherever we want, we eat whatever we want. That's why I said is different.
We were in Taiwan for 8 days and 7 nights, 3 days in Taipei, 3 days in Taichung and 2 days back in Taipei. The weather you asked? It is winter, but a really warm winter, with sun shinning, a really bright one too. Shocking isn't it? But I still people in Taiwan wearing fur coats and thick winter jackets. Crazy?!? O.O.. I was in sleeveless during my whole entire trip because it's weather is like Malaysia. I was super speechless because I was thinking I could finally get some natural air-condition when I get there, owh man, I was dead wrong. *lols.
Let's talk about food, my favourite topic!!
Food was cheap and good, I nearly died there. I ate like nobody's business and have been eating straight for 8 days non-stop, like seriously; especially when I'm in Taichung. My aunt was there to bring us to all the great place to eat and try their local food. Well, I guess pictures worth a thousand words, might as well I just post them up. *bahahaha, lazy larr..
Okay I think I posted too much food, but there are more, so many. This shows I go to Taiwan just to eat and eat! Did I mention I'm so in love with the stinky tofu! :) I went to Taipei 101 too. The view up there is absolutely beautiful and everything just took my breathe away. I went to flora expo too. Flora expo was pretty too, but the weather was too hot when I went to the expo. It was breath taking but the place doesn't smell as nice as I thought it would be, but it is magnificent, no doubt. It was so crowded, the whole place was full of people *people mountain, people sea, but it worth going to. Want to see more pictures? :D
I decided not to post anymore pictures, because it takes up heaps of time. I shall ask you guys to move to my facebook to look at those pictures. Feel free to comment too. And please do ignore some of my retarded photos. Taiwan is a great place to get away, a place to eat all you want. Just be reminded, do buff up your Mandarin before you go there. I was like a blind chick because I don't understand most of the writing, wording and stuff as they are all in the complicated Mandarin. I know what you are thinking, yes, I suck in Chinese, but so what? I don't mind; at least I can speak "fluently". :D
If you are a girly girl, you would fall in love with Taiwan too. Because their clothes, stockings and accessories is super cheap and nice. My cousins totally went crazy over all the stuff there, and their luggage was over weight, over flowing with accessories. Crazy? You tell me. :)
