So new semester, new rules! Cheryn and I (well, it was actually me, I talked her into doing this with me) decided to go vegetarian on the first day and the 15th day of each month in the lunar calendar. We have been doing it for two months now, and it's quite therapeutic and spiritually fulfilling; helps in cleansing too! Edmond was forced to do it with us because he has to respect us as he's living with us. Sounds mean? *Believe me, not at all.
We are not those hard core and dedicated vegetarians. We still eat eggs, onions and garlic *accidentally. So I guess we are not that good in sudden transitions! Owh well, we are doing this because we think it would help in cleansing our body (or soul or whatever). Let me tell you the main reason for doing this! It's because; we have been experiencing constipation. *laughs* So we concluded this is the best solution for our problems.
We usually have one vegetarian meal at home and one outside to enjoy the proper vegetarian food. We tried all variety of vegetarian food, ranges from Japanese to Taiwanese (anywhere we can lay your hands on).
Japanese:
Teriyaki Tofu Don
Tempura Udon(with onions) :p *shocking isn't it?
Taiwanese: (strictly vegetarians) *no fooling around
Vegetarian Fried Chicken
Hot and Spicy Noodles
Braised Pork
Black Pepper Beef
Vegetarian Roast Duck
Vegetarian Fried Rice
And this? Cheryn's horrendous creation! *no kidding! It taste really really extremely BAD! I am not exaggerating at all! Never ever try this! *Is this how you repay me after countless of meals I cooked for you?Seriously?
Stir Fry Tofu with Bamboo shoots
Go green! I mean it! It's good for health and you will feel better too! :D
