I thought I wasn't going to collect much from anyone, because it was freaking 8 in the morning, you don't see people walking around at 8 in the morning. So I didn't put much hopes in collecting heaps, maybe $50 max. I was so wrong. People were so generous! *no kidding.. There was a man, he walked pass and shove like 5 or 6 $20 notes into my bucket, maybe more I'm not sure. And some gave $5 or $10! I was happy and thrilled to be able to collect so much! But it's sad to say, most of them are non-asian. ONLY ONE ASIAN DONATED, the rest were just avoiding eye contact with me. I looked at people, and hoping that they would have some spare change to put them into my small bucket so I can give them a sticker as reward! I don't go around and say "Would you like to make a donation to SPAC?" or holding a knife and put it around your neck, forcing you to donate. I stood there, waiting, and waiting and waiting.. *i'm a kind person, okay? 

I met really weird people on the street. Okay, not weird, interesting people. *LOL.. A pair of old couple who donated some. The old man kept asking me if I'm with the dogs, he meant SPCA. So I told him; yes, I'm with the dogs! *laughs* Then he said, oh great! I love dogs. He was so adorable!! :D Then I met a street performer (street magician). He was quite funny. I mean the way he talks to girls was just mind blowing. He talks as if he is extremely good looking which isn't true and he just say whatever he wants to whoever he wants. So that kinda caught my attention. He told an old man that the bank is giving away the old man's money rather than keeping them. There's a term for it, but I couldn't remember what. He was just funny, funny man. Well, at least I got some entertainment while doing the volunteering work. Fun times!!

Overall, it's a really good experience, but please people, don't dig your purse or pockets if you have no intention to donate! Don't lead me on! Don't make my hopes high! I'll feel like shyt afterwards and that's not nice. Why does people in suits doesn't let me stick the sticker on them? TT^TT Anyhow, I had fun! Probably will do it again next year and will bring a jacket with me next time.
