I'm pretty sure you can find all variety of food in any foreign land you're in. No matter you're in Malaysia, England, New Zealand or China, I'm positively sure you can find food origin from other countries, such as Taiwanese food, Korean food, Western food and etc etc.
Edward is a nice guy, nice enough to bring us out from the city to have a decent meal in the suburb with his car, even though he lives in north shore. It would jam like a bitch if he goes back during peak hours, so I have to give him credits for bringing us for nice food!
He has better hair now. :)
He's a big eater, so does Cheryn, so they both kinda finish all the food. I didn't feel like eating because I was stressed about my exam, but I've been craving for dumplings. I should have just ordered dumplings; I should have. *laughs* The of their food is pretty reasonable too, I can't recall the total but I know my dish was $8NZD, and it's HUGE.
We ordered 3 side and 3 main. 1 of the side is my main, because I think I couldn't finish one main, and the side would be a smaller portion. I was so so WRONG. The sides are huge man! When it was serve, I was like very speechless and eyes were wide O.O
The sides (2 sides to share and my main),
蚝煎
锅贴 (i love these)
蚝阿面线 ($8NZD)
The mains,
酸辣饺子汤 (Cheryn's main)
大大猪排饭 (Edward's main)
Overall the food was good, I like the dumplings and my string noodles was so so, as it doesn't taste as good as the one I had back in Taiwan. And Cheryn's main, wasn't that impressive too. It's not as sour and spicy as expected. Maybe that's the disadvantages of having food which are not from the place of origin. The food are usually changed and modified to suit the local taste, hence changing the taste. Well, my dish and Edward's wasn't that bad.
My parents always teach me order what you want to eat, do not save on food. They taught me well, I always buy whatever I want to eat and I always finish my food! Thanks parents, I won't starve in New Zealand, because I love spending money on my food.
