Sorry I took so long to blog my mini road trip (2 days 1 night) with these 3 person.
Here's a bit of intro:
We decided to go on a casual road trip one night over dinner, because I needed a break from both work and studies. And all conveniently agree to the idea of needing a break. So last minute decision - to Rotorua and Taupo.
Common features of all four
1. Serembanian stuck in NZ
2. Big time bullshytter
3. 38 behaviour (There're proof)
4. Wanting a break from work or studies
5. Wearing glasses
6. Very spontaneous
Differences, besides the obvious
Edward Loh: Cheryn's neighbour in Seremban. Uncle Loh's only son. Live across Cheryn in Seremban. Went to the same high school as Ivan. Working in Nz.
Cheryn Toh: My cousin with me in NZ. David Toh's (3rd uncle) only daughter. Live across Edward in Seremban. Went to the same high school as me, later transferred. Studying in AUT.
Ivan Sim: Mr Sim's son. Edward's high school friend. Came from Seremban. Studied in UoA. Working as a engineer in Nz. *Know very few of him, or maybe I forgotten.
After all the discussion, we decided to make it on the 31st of March, the last day of March. We began our journey at 6am. Edward picked us up from our house then Ivan's.
First stop - handprint on cement, sheep, dog, Jesus and coffee
Second stop - Skyline @ Rotorua
Rotorua is famous for the hot springs and extreme sports such as bungy jump, sky jump and etc. The whole town literally smells like rotten eggs because of the smell of sulphur from the hot springs. There are sheep shows too. But we didn't watch it because we were rushing to Taupo.
Third stop - Bee farm, Huka falls @ Taupo
"Brother for life aye?" - 38 behviour #1
38 behaviour #2
38 behaviour #3
38 behaviour #4
Forth stop - Rented house @ Lake Taupo
"Aiyo... So tired~~"
Fifth stop - Maori F&C
I had a really awesome time with you guys; enjoyable, fruitful and fun. Even though it's a bit short and rush, I still had heaps of fun. Thanks for the company and entertainment provided! :D
