My Birthday - a simple yet meaningful title for this post dedicated to myself and my parents! Thanks for bringing me into this world, so I could see the wonderful things around and some unpleasant things too. Anyhow, I am grateful I was born; uber grateful.
Start off this post with a photo taken by my boyfriend when we attempted to skype in the library of uni (Epsom Campus). Because of his sorta shyt connection yesterday, the webcam kept lagging and this is the prove of the lagging screen (not very convincing). We talked for a bit, he accompanied me for a bit then he had to sleep. Then my father called, to wish me a very happy birthday, which totally enlightened my day. Texts from parents and siblings and several texts from everywhere, also brighten up my day. How can my family forget? I am the first born okay! * grinning * I do not wish to complain about people forgetting my birthday, because I forget other people's birthday too. So, no harm done, if you forget mine. Is so understandable. :D
How did my day went? I went to a cafe called Frasers in Mt Eden Village. I decided to have my all time favourite breakfast - bagel (a treat for myself). Just a simple New York Bagel with jams, butter and cream cheese, very yum. And topped it up with a Mochacinno. * yummyyy~~ * Although I have to it on my own (pretty sad, but I don't mind), it still tasted super delicious.
And that bagel filled my stomach so much, I didn't even have lunch. So I decided to have my potatoes pasta which I made one day before for dinner. Since is a Friday, the library closed early which is at 6pm. So I walked back and came home to this stuck on my door:
The creation of Cheryn Toh. Because my birthday always fall in the exam season, thus we don't usually celebrate as everyone is busy with studies and preparing for exam. Yet, she done this for me, simply because she finished her exam and she got nothing to do but to make my night even better. *laughs*
And my dinner is no longer potato pasta, it became the legendary canton BBQ duck, BBQ pork and roast pork on rice. Her treat of course. *lol~*
As for birthday cake! 2 cupcakes courtesy of her, and a gift too!
What more can I ask aye?? That's all I can ask for. She done so much for me. Another good news is, I'm getting a new phone soon. My mother bought for me, and I will get it real soon! Heeee :)
Last but not least, thanks baby for the birthday card! I was surprised to received it. Thank you for sending it to me. It's just one day late, not really that late. Haaaahaaa :)I love it. Thankss.. <3
