As a self-proclaimed close friend or buddy or "brother" of yours should inform you that you've been working too hard for your horrible, terrible, horrendous, dreadful, awful, nasty, lousy and rotten job!! Oh wait, I got a better word to describe your job - MONSTROUS! Like literally, the sucky-est job a person could have. Since you have been coping with it for so long, I guess you are not human yourself; God perhaps?! *Pfftt, who am I kidding? You think god of dance mehh?! LOL!!
Anyhow, I'm here to list out 10 reasons why you should blood quit your job. Because I care.
1. Nobody appreciate you
Am I not right? You know this very well yourself, I'm sure. Tonight before you hit the sack and piggy off, heighten up your pillow and think - ARE YOU BEING APPRECIATE FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR YOUR BOSS AND YOUR SO-CALLED COLLEAGUE? Think of that statement seriously and DO NOT EFFING LIE TO YOURSELF.
2. Your horrible boss
Disclaimer: I am not being racist here, please Indian people do not get offended (especially Malaysians).
No offence but I think your boss sucks! After all the stuff you have done and helped out even on your day off, yet you are not appreciated. Not even a tap on the shoulder saying good job, thanks for helping. Is that really so difficult to praise a person or thank a person who has done so much? Yes, is his responsibilities, but I'm sure others have responsibilities too. What I see from outside is - as if Edward is the only one working. Whatever it is, your Indian boss is absolutely wicked and evil.
3. Unpaid overtime
I'm sure you have lost count of those overtime you worked. And I'm pretty sure he hasn't pay you a single cent yet. SO WHY ARE YOU STILL WORKING THERE? *PR?
4. Indecent pay
I'm sorry but based on what you told me, your pay ain't very high. Is just slightly higher than mine. I don't know how much they paying you, I'm gonna assume is low but slightly higher than mine. Mine is 14.90 per hour before tax, what's yours? If you agree with me, I think you should either demand or LEAVE. Because you deserve better and is that too much to ask for?
5. You do everything yourself
WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO YOURSELF?! There are plenty of ways to be responsible. God knows.. :S
6. Your boss is taking advantages of you
My assumption again, but according to those statement mentioned above, it has to be true. Furthermore he's an Indian. Indians have a tendency of being cheap in general.
7. McD's labour welfare and policies suck
HOW CAN ONE WORK WITHOUT GETTING OVERTIME PAID? HOW CAN YOU WORK UNDER SUCH CONDITIONS?! Seriously?!
8. You deserve better
Because I sincerely think you do, Edward. I know getting PR is important, at least quit your job after you get your PR, okay? I really don't want to see you suffocating yourself with unnecessary stress, if you know what I mean.
9. You are not coming back to Malaysia for CNY
You promised, yet you broke it. Because of PR and that sickening job of yours. *sighhh...
10. Your job fucked up your biological clock
Also equivalents to no social life? Well this is the least of your concern, and I ran out of ideas. In order not to repeat the reasons, this will have to do. :)
Conclusion, I'm lucky not to have such issues and grateful at the same time. Even though I didn't like or love my job, I still appreciate the fact the my managers actually say "thank you" every time I finish work. I actually felt being appreciated. The smallest thing cheers a person up, even if is just a "thank you". If you do quit your I would proudly say "Good riddance! I'm so proud of you, now start applying another job!" You know we care. And for other bosses or employer out there, treat your employees right, because they are humans and they deserve being treated nicely and appreciated (excluding assholes).
