Ingredients: Mince pork, 1 carrots, 3-4 mushrooms (chinese dry ones), garlic, spring onions and wonton pastry.
Seasoning: white pepper, oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, shao xing cooking oil, salt, corn flour and oyster sauce (optional).
Steps
1. Place 250g - 350g on mince pork in a medium bowl.
2. Chop/cut/slice the garlic, carrot, mushroom and spring onion into pieces.
3. Place everything into the bowl and start mixing
4. Add 3-4 table spoon of shao xing cooking wine, 3-4 table spoon of soy sauce, 1 table spoon of sesame oil, 1 table of cooking oil, 1-2 teaspoon of salt, 1-2 tablespoon of corn flour and 2 tablespoon of oyster sauce (optional). Pepper, season as you like. You may adjust the amount of seasoning as you like.
5. After adding the sauces and seasoning, mix well. After mixing, the consistency of the meat mixture should be thick and slightly sticky because of the corn flour added. Leave it on the table for about 10 minutes for the meat and veges to be marinated a bit.
6. Get your wonton pastry ready and wrap however you like
7. Now you are ready to cook. You can either deep fry it or eat it with soup together with your favourite noodles.
8. Bon appetit.
This wonton is great for parents in order to cheap their kids into eating veges like carrots, mushrooms and spring onions. Is quick and easy to make, and I'm sure you and your kids will enjoy it very well. Homemade wonton is always better than outside food. All in a day's work. :)
