Overwhelmed
Sunday, July 7, 2013

I am such a bad blogger, I have to apologize to people who reads my blog for not being consistence and all. I've got to say, I have not been very busy, just kinda forgets my priority. And I sincerely thought that I have scheduled some posts, which I didn't. So this probably is not a very good excuse. *laughs....

A huge thank you for those who have stuck with me for so long (probably no one now) and Nuffnang for all the opportunities on the ads and many more, I promise I will keep updating in the future and I will try my best in keeping that promise. And this post will be a lengthy one, stay with me if you can. :)

Here are some updates that I would love to share and I'm sure you guys would be very happy for me (syok sendiri). As you guys know (well, probably not), I recently graduated from The University of Auckland (not exactly recent, it was last December) with a Bachelor in Science majoring in Biomedical Science. I am going to have my convocation in September (yay to that!!) with my parents and boyfriend visiting me. I also came back to New Zealand 2 months ago to look for a job. I got to say, being unemployed really SUCKS!! I spent 2 months basically doing nothing besides updating my blog, applying for jobs, eating, sleeping and exercising (nothing hugely beneficial). I did tried to pick up some forex learning or schooling or reading from the internet for a while but I just kinda stopped looking at it. *lol...

Finally one day, I received an email notifying me that I should call them to arrange an interview with them (I did get several calls to go for interview but I didn't get the job). So I called, they interviewed me on Tuesday (it was a good 30 minutes interview), they said they would let me know by Friday because they have another person to interview on Thursday. My heart sank a bit then, because I had to wait til Friday and I've got myself a competition. I can tell you this, the wait from Tuesday to Friday was the longest wait of my life, I was anxious and worried that I wouldn't get the job. On Friday, my phone rang; I picked up. As soon as Eunice (my soon-to-be colleague) told me they wanted me to start on 8th of July, my heart literally skipped a beat!! I was so excited, happy and grateful that God finally answered my prayers. Most importantly I GOT A JOB!! But I'm starting tomorrow, not 8th anymore. Owh, I work in a clinic now. *teehee..

Applied so many jobs as well as being rejected so many times, really hurts my pride. I was going to have a mental break down, because I cannot stand myself for not doing anything useful in the 2 months. Getting a call from College Hill Doctors really was the greatest gift I can ask for my birthday (even though it was one week late)!! And thank you thank you to my friends for planning and celebrating my birthday with me. I really appreciate what you guys have done for me!! Thank you for the home-cooked food, the gifts, the desserts, the drinks and especially the company!!

Thanks Ian for the champagne, Drina for the flowers, Smith for preparing the food, Cheryn for the cakes, Boss for the decorations, Ivan for the non-alcoholic drinks and Edward for the expensive desserts. Thank you everybody for the effort and those who wished me around the world! Thank you very very much.

That pretty much sums up the most important phase of my life. And now is a new chapter of my life, I can now proudly call myself a working adult (despite my face looking like 15 year old). Secondly, Yvonne Yung's arrival in Auckland!! After 4 years of not getting to meet each other due to the distance, timing and shit; we finally met and greeted each other in foreign land - NEW ZEALAND!! She came to Auckland to visit me during her winter break which was last week. I was so happy to finally see her after we parted our ways after college 4 years ago!! She has not change a bit, as gorgeous as ever and as intelligent as ever. On the first night of her arrival, we decided we should celebrate my employment and her arrival together by going out to party. She is such an angel; despite being sick, she followed us to Primo to party. :')

Of course we brought her around after one day of good recovering from the exercise. We (Cheryn, Edward and I) brought her to several must visit places around Auckland like Mezze Bar, Circus circus, Mt Eden (which is on the way), Dressmart, French Market and Newmarket. Didn't bring her to Viaduct because she was sick and the weather wasn't very friendly to a sick girl. She was suppose to stay for 8 days instead she stayed for only 5. Do you know we can go so many places if you stayed for another 3 days?! Why the heck did you change your ticket?!? *sighhh...

When we were at Mezze Bar, she went crazy for a bit. When we were at french market, she went crazy for a bit. When we were at dressmart, she went even crazier! She fell in love with the breakfast in French Market. She was totally blown away by the danish we bought. As for dressmart, she was blown away again by the sales. She couldn't believe her eyes that, clothes in Auckland could be this cheap!! She totally didn't expect that from Auckland. She said she will definetely come back to Auckland again for more, in November!! Miss her so much already! :(

As for Cheryn's birthday, we headed out to have a fancy birthday dinner with her and some of her/our friends. We went to this place called Ortolana in Downtown near Britomart. I will do a review on the food and place in my future post. *promise!!

And I cooked her breakfast in bed the next day. I was going to cook for her on her birthday but she decided not to come home, so I just had to cook it the next day. Edward also planned a birthday trip that weekend for her to Wellington (kinda like a honeymoon). *so sweet right?

So that's for my June 2013. How about yours? Did June treat you well? I hope so. Here's a recent picture of me before I leave. :) Please stay tuned for more!

stay healthy, stay sexy
live life to the max
xoxo
