Hey there, here's my second post of the year. Great achievement don't you think? Is not that big of a deal but I feel proud, at least I'm making a commitment to at blog a week, preferably twice a week. Of course, I'm getting there. ;p
This post will be about resolutions. I know is a bit late for resolutions, but hey.. is better late than never! ;) I am definitely one of the many who always fail in keeping track of my new year's resolutions. *no doubt at all.. Even though I am a organized person, I will just slack and somehow forget resolutions. And a month ago (I think) I read this article about making baby steps in achieving your resolutions - for example, making a weekly or month resolution in order to achieve that yearly resolution.
Let's say losing weight is my yearly resolution, the monthly resolution will be lose at least 1 kg a month and the weekly resolution will be not have lunch for 2 days out of the 7 days.
So if you divide 1 kg by 4, so technically only need to lose 0.25 kg a week. And if you lost 1 kg every month, in a year you will lose 12 kg by end of this year. *Fascinating isn't it? Effortless yet achievable.
My resolutions:
1. Yearly: Hope to finish all my old make up products
Monthly: Do not buy unnecessary new make up products
Weekly: Apply make up during the weekends when going out
2. Yearly: Blog a bit more
Monthly: At least 4 posts a month
Weekly: At least 1 post a month
3. Yearly: Save more money
Monthly: Cook more often
Weekly: Save at least $50 a week
4. Yearly: Be a little bit healthy/ Adapt healthy lifestyles/ Gain weight
Monthly: Eat better
Weekly: Go running at least twice a week/ Play badminton once a week/
Home exercise twice a week/ Walk to work everyday
5. Yearly: Be a better person
Monthly: Catch up with people/ Talk to mum and dad more/ More sociable
Weekly: At least once a week
So hopefully when I look back at the end of the year, I am able to achieve most of them, hopefully all of them. :)
